Valentino opens PM23, a new cultural space in Rome
Valentino is getting ready to inaugurate a space dedicated to art and creativity: PM23. An ambitious project that reinforces its cultural commitment.
A showcase for art and young talent
This May, Valentino will open PM23, an artistic and educational space located at 23 Piazza Mignanelli, within the recently renovated Palazzo Gabrielli Mignanelli. This venue will be home to the Fondazione Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, created in 2016 to support young talent and promote art.
PM23 is planning two exhibitions a year and will be setting up workshops and competitions to support the next generation of artists and designers. This initiative is in line with the company’s desire to promote creativity and its heritage.
Valentino for memory and innovation
For its opening in spring 2025, an inaugural exhibition will pay tribute to Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti. Curated by Anna Coliva and Pamela Golbin, the event will feature iconic pieces, photographic archives and never-before-seen documents, highlighting the influence of Rome on Valentino’s history.
With PM23, the company joins other major luxury brands that have invested in cultural venues. These include the Fondation Louis Vuitton, inaugurated in 2014, and the Fondation Cartier, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
