Fendi celebrates 100 years with a tribute show

At Milan Fashion Week, Fendi marked its centenary with an Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 show that paid tribute to its family history and timeless craftsmanship.

A parade between past and present

The Fendi centenary is part of a long tradition of family transmission. As the show opened, Silvia Venturini Fendi‘s grandsons Dardo and Tazio made an eye-catching appearance, wearing the same outfits their grandmother wore in 1967 for an iconic Fendi campaign. This historical nod perfectly illustrates the bridge between generations, a central theme of the show.

Presented at the Spazio Fendi in Milan, a venue reminiscent of the elegance of the historic Via Borgognona headquarters in Rome, the show was a true immersion in the refined world of the house. Silvia Venturini Fendi, third-generation heiress, dedicated this collection to her memories, real or imagined, of Fendi through the ages.

A journey through the decades

With a soundtrack carefully orchestrated by Michel Gaubert, featuring Barry White, Ornella Vanoni, Mina and Patty Pravo, the collection transports us into a stylized retrospective of Fendi‘s evolution. The invitation to the show, conceived in the form of a leather photo album, contained archival shots by Karl Lagerfeld, recalling the house’s historic roots.

On the catwalk, silhouettes revisit Fendi’s emblematic codes: fur coats worn as dresses, revisited lingerie, transparencies, lace and hushed sensuality. Each piece expresses both the timeless elegance of the house and its ability to reinvent itself.

A celebration of fashion icons

To magnify this unique moment, Fendi assembled an exceptional cast: Penelope Tree, Deva Cassel, Adriana Lima, Natasha Poly, Mona Tougaard, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin Le Bon, Doutzen Kroes and Paloma Elsesser took to the catwalk, embodying the brand’s timeless aura.

This centenary is not just a nostalgic tribute, but a declaration of continuity.
