BLACKPINK in concert at the Stade de France in 2025

The famous K-pop group BLACKPINK returns to the stage with a new world tour in 2025, marked by a unique date in France. The quartet formed by Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa will perform on August 2, 2025 at the Stade de France, an event eagerly awaited by fans after the end of their Born Pink tour in 2023.

A long-awaited comeback after months of uncertainty

BLACKPINK’s return was not guaranteed. The group was at the heart of speculation linked to the “seven-year curse”, an unspoken rule of the K-pop industry that often sees groups part ways after their first contract expires. YG Entertainment finally renewed their contract with BLACKPINK in December 2023, confirming their continued career as a group.

However, the K-pop landscape is changing fast, and new groups like Illit, Le Sserafim and NewJeans are gaining in popularity, putting BLACKPINK up against new competition. Illit, for example, recently surpassed the group in monthly listeners on Spotify thanks to its track “Magnetic”.

Flourishing solo careers

Although BLACKPINK has renewed its contract as a band, its members are also developing their individual projects. Jennie has founded her own label Odd Atelier and is preparing the release of her first solo album “Ruby” on the Columbia (Sony) label in March 2025. Lisa, after shining at the 2024 VMAs, is preparing her acting debut in season 3 of The White Lotus. Jisoo and Rosé also continue their musical and media activities, consolidating their presence in the entertainment industry.
