Diptyque creates its foundation for art and nature

Diptyque announces the launch of its Foundation. This initiative is dedicated to preserving nature and supporting the arts. An ambitious five-year program is already in place.

A commitment to biodiversity and heritage

Diptyque, famous for its perfumes and candles, is taking a new step by committing itself to ecological and cultural actions. The Diptyque Foundation ‘s mission is to support projects linked to nature and the arts. They are seen as vectors of positive transformation.

A number of concrete actions have been announced since its launch. The Foundation will finance the computerization of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle‘s 25,000 flowering plant samples. A partnership with the École nationale supérieure de paysage de Versailles has also been set up to train Master Gardeners, a key profession in the preservation of green spaces. At the same time, it will support the restoration of historic gardens, notably the Jardin Serre de la Madone in Menton and the gardens of the Académie de France in Rome.

Support for artistic creation and awareness-raising

In addition to its commitment to the environment, the Diptyque Foundation aims to promote artistic research with impact. A multidisciplinary program, entitled De la Nature à l’Œuvre, will be unveiled later this year.

Finally, a third aspect of the project is to raise public awareness of nature through educational workshops aimed at younger generations.

Chaired by Laurence Semichon, CEO of Diptyque, and backed by William Fisher (Manzanita Capital) and Fabienne Mauny, the Foundation aims to make a lasting impact with concrete, innovative actions.
