Saint Laurent welcomes Sushi Park to Paris

The famous Saint Laurent fashion house opens the doors of its universe to gastronomy by teaming up with Californian restaurant Sushi Park. This is a world first for the Japanese brand popular with celebrities.

Anthony Vaccarello and Peter Park

For several years now, Anthony Vaccarello, artistic director of Saint Laurent, has been a regular at Sushi Park, a discreet restaurant nestled on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Opened in 2006 by chef Peter Park, this confidential spot has become a must for lovers of Japanese cuisine, particularly among Hollywood stars.

Following an initial collaboration at Paris Fashion Week 2022, where a series of exclusive dinners were organized, the two men are taking the next step by establishing Sushi Park in Paris. The new space will be located in the Saint Laurent Rive Droite concept store, at 8 rue du 29 Juillet, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.

An exceptional omakase concept

Scheduled to open on February 21, Sushi Park Paris will offer a unique dining experience, true to the spirit of its original establishment. The restaurant will operate on theomakase principle, where the chef prepares a selection of dishes according to the seasons, the day’s produce and his inspiration. This concept emphasizes a refined, minimalist approach, in perfect harmony with the sleek, sophisticated world of Saint Laurent.

A project that enriches the Saint Laurent universe

The opening coincides with the reopening of Saint Laurent Rive Droite, a hybrid space designed to host artistic, cultural and now gastronomic collaborations. By integrating Sushi Park into its concept, Saint Laurent reinforces its influence beyond fashion, confirming its status as a brand at the crossroads of disciplines.
