Miu Miu welcomes Silvia Onofri as new CEO

The Prada group has announced the appointment of Silvia Onofri as head of Miu Miu, a brand on the rise. She will officially take up her post on February 26.

Silvia Onofri is no stranger to the world of luxury. A graduate of Rome’s La Sapienza, the London School of Economics and the University of Greenwich, she started out at Bvlgari, before holding key positions at Bally and Napapijri. Drawing on her international experience, her mission will be to continue the meteoric rise of Miu Miu, a subsidiary of the Prada Group.

A growing brand

Miu Miu’s success continues unabated. In 2024, the brand recorded growth of +97.5%, reaching sales of 854 million euros. According to the Lyst Index, Miu Miu is one of the most sought-after brands, with an impressive +105% increase in the third quarter. Now a pillar of the Prada group, it now accounts for 25% of sales, compared with 15% last year.
