La Brasserie des Arts: Paris is rocking!

@brasseriesdesarts

Those of you who think Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a dull place need not worry. The Brasserie des Arts is the place to spend the night! It’s also the place to eat. Visit the most chic (and scoundrelish) brasserie in Paris.

A charming address

Located on rue Saint-André-des-Arts (you’d think), this brasserie draws its inspiration from the cultural history of the neighborhood, which has seen the likes of Oscar Wilde, Pablo Picasso and Albert Camus pass through its doors. All of them artists, dreamers and a little bit crazy. Architect Jessica Mille has breathed an Art Deco spirit into the place, with green velvets, glass fixtures and poetic frescoes. The must-have? The heart-shaped chairs specially designed for the space. Named Love, they come in marble and onyx.

With its festive yet warm atmosphere and round-the-clock service, Brasserie des Arts is just as attractive for a gourmet meal as it is for a lively evening. The terrace is ideal for enjoying a cocktail, while the cosy interior invites you to devour the chef’s menu with unabashed pleasure.

Valentine Davase’s take on regressive cuisine

Chef Valentine Davase, formerly of the prestigious L’Espadon restaurant at the Ritz, is at the helm of the kitchen with a gourmet menu. Passionate about local produce, she offers revisited classics such as home-made cordon bleu with Cantal cheese, old-fashioned croque-monsieur and vanilla profiteroles.

Sundays are brunch days, with a generous selection of sweet and savoury dishes priced at 28 euros per person.

Valentine Davase, founder of event caterer Le Réfectoire, embodies a new generation of committed chefs. She is committed to seasonal produce, while supporting responsible initiatives such as the fight against food waste and solidarity actions.

The night is not over

Brasserie des Arts doesn’t limit itself to its cuisine. The Goldie Club, its festive and confidential space, offers dance evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. With live concerts, DJ sets and an atmosphere inspired by the Roaring Twenties, the Goldie Club is the perfect place to extend the evening.

This intimate club can also be privatized for events such as birthdays or corporate cocktail parties. Equipped with sound systems, it can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Wednesday’s voice

Every Wednesday evening, the brasserie organizes a Live Soul dinner, where singers accompanied by musicians enchant the guests. You’d think you were in front of a 1920s bar. Look around, in case you bump into Hemingway, Kiki de Montparnasse and the rest.

The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a wide selection of cocktails, champagnes and other spirits, ideal for accompanying dishes or simply enjoying an aperitif on the terrace.
