Bang & Olufsen launches its first customization workshop

Danish brand Bang & Olufsen, renowned for its excellence in sound and design, takes a new step forward with the opening ofAtelier. It’s an exclusive customization service. An initiative aimed at high-tech enthusiasts wishing to combine performance and uniqueness.

In a world where uniformity dominates, Bang & Olufsen relies on personalization to offer its customers unique products. Thanks to Atelier, the brand now offers a made-to-measure service where every detail can be adjusted according to the user’s desires.
Based in Struer, Denmark, this new space brings together specialized craftsmen who work closely with customers to design customized audio products. Whether it’s the choice of materials, colors or finishes, each element becomes an expression of the owner’s style and personality.
According to Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär, this approach is designed to create a lasting relationship between the brand and its users:

Top-of-the-range services for a unique experience
The Atelier offer comprises three distinct services:
- Bespoke: direct collaboration with craftsmen to integrate specific materials.
- Catalog: choose from 500,000 combinations of fabrics, woods and aluminum finishes.
- Editions: limited series that illustrate the brand’s highest level of expertise.
To mark this launch, Bang & Olufsen unveils the Atelier Limited Edition Beosound 2 Gradient collection. It’s an ultra-limited series of 10 gradients inspired by sonic emotions, numbered and engraved.
Customization accessible to all
Available in all Bang & Olufsen stores, the Atelier experience can also be explored via a digital configurator that lets you experiment with different options before finalizing your choice.
