Petit Bateau x Miu Miu: a collab celebrating childhood
Miu Miu and Petit Bateau combine their expertise for a minimalist, nostalgic capsule collection, in which cotton becomes a symbol of softness and childhood memories.
An ode to innocence and simplicity
Already spotted on the catwalk at the Italian luxury brand ‘s Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris, the pieces resulting from this collaboration between the Italian brand and Petit Bateau are finally hitting the stores. T-shirts, tank tops, bodysuits and panties, all designed in white cotton and made in Italy, reinterpret the intimate comfort of childhood. These garments evoke a second skin, reminiscent of those essential pieces that have always been with us.
Two homes, one vision
Founded a century apart, Petit Bateau in 1893 and Miu Miu in 1993, these two houses share a common vision: to preserve the carefree intuition of childhood through timeless pieces. This partnership translates this philosophy into garments of pure design, where authenticity takes precedence over pomp and circumstance.
A collection available now
Presented by models such as Amelia Gray and Loli Bahia at the show, the collection features a little red ship embroidered in picot, the Petit Bateau emblem, discreetly affixed to the pieces. This capsule is now available in the Italian brand’ s boutiques and on its official website, offering everyone the chance to rediscover that intuitive simplicity that echoes memories of yesteryear.
