Lady Gaga made her mark by unveiling a previously unreleased track at the FIREAID benefit concert, organized in support of the victims of the Los Angeles fires.

On January 30, the stage of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood brought together a prestigious cast for the FIREAID concert, an event designed to raise funds for those affected by the forest fires that ravaged Los Angeles. Lady Gaga, accompanied by Billie Eilish, Sting, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo and Katy Perry, gave a poignant performance, introduced by actor Billy Crystal.

An emotional musical moment

Known for her powerful voice and humanitarian commitment, Lady Gaga revisited two key tracks from A Star Is Born: Shallow and Always Remember Us This Way, which had already won over audiences for the film in which she co-starred with Bradley Cooper. However, the real surprise came with a previously unreleased track, co-written with her fiancé Michael Polansky, especially for the occasion.

A song of hope

Before performing this new song – which could be called All I Need Is Time or Time Is a Healer, depending on the lyrics – Lady Gaga addressed the audience:
“When I was thinking about what I was going to sing tonight, I thought I’d like to do something upbeat for you. I thought about my titles and nothing seemed to fit. […] It’s just for tonight, just for you. I think we all need a lot of things right now, but I think we also need time. Time heals everything.”

Artistic mobilization and solidarity

As the evening progressed, artists took turns paying tribute to the victims and firefighters. Katy Perry, sporting an American flag, electrified the crowd with California Gurls, Roar and Rise, while Billie Eilish and Finneas moved the crowd with acoustic versions of their songs Wildflower, The Greatest and Birds of a Feather.
