To celebrate Chinese New Year 2025, the Shangri-La Paris is offering an exceptional program of traditional dance, refined gastronomy and festive moments to celebrate the Year of the Wooden Snake.
La Danse du Lion: a lucky show
The Shangri-La, an emblematic palace a stone’s throw from the Trocadéro, hosts the traditional Lion Dance, a symbol of good luck and prosperity. This festive acrobatic show is open to all and free of charge. Join us on Wednesday, January 29 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, February 2 at 11:45 a.m., for an immersion in Chinese culture through the palace’s sumptuous spaces.
An exotic brunch under the glass roof of La Bauhinia
On Sunday February 2, from 12pm to 3pm, La Bauhinia offers a special Chinese New Year brunch. In a warm atmosphere, accompanied by the Dance of the Lions, Chef Quentin Testart unveils dishes with Asian accents such as Chop suey, Bigorre black pork in sweet and sour sauce, and stir-fried noodles with yellow chicken. Reservations recommended for this unique experience under the glass roof.
A star-studded experience at the Shang Palace
For an exceptional gastronomic celebration, head to Shang Palace, France’s only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant. From January 29 to February 3, Chef Tony Xu is offering a festive menu at €198 per person, featuring dishes such as Siu Mai Bites with Blue Lobster and Kristal Caviar, and Char Siu Lacquered Wagyu Beef. A menu to discover with family, friends or as a duo.
