Jean Imbert and Mauviel 1830 join forces to open a new restaurant: Logis Sainte Catherine, at the foot of Mont-Saint-Michel.

Renowned chef Jean Imbert joins forces with luxury cookware house Mauviel 1830 for an exceptional project. Together, they inaugurate Logis Sainte Catherine, a gourmet address nestled in a historic building on Mont-Saint-Michel, refurbished by Bachmann Associés.

An iodized collaboration

For Mauviel 1830, renowned manufacturer of copper utensils, this restaurant marks a historic first. Valérie Le Guern Gilbert, president of the company, underlines this major step: “We are becoming restaurateurs while remaining true to our heritage and our values of creativity and innovation.”

Chef Jean Imbert, known for his prestigious collaborations and generous dishes, has created a menu based on exceptional local produce. Flagship dishes include Thermidor lobster and Abrinka pig, embodying the richness of Normandy’s terroir.

Jean Imbert, an asset for Mont-Saint-Michel

This new restaurant enhances the gastronomic offering of an already unmissable site. With its 3 million annual visitors, Mont-Saint-Michel is the most visited tourist site in France outside Paris. The arrival of the Logis Sainte Catherine could further enhance its popularity by attracting lovers of fine dining.
