Pharrell Williams and Nigo set Fashion Week opening alight

Last night, in the prestigious Cour Carrée du Louvre, Louis Vuitton opened Paris Fashion Week for Men with a striking show by creative tandem Pharrell Williams and Nigo. This bold collaboration embodies a dialogue between French luxury and Japanese streetwear influences.

A collection rooted in the past and looking to the future

Called “Remember the Future”, the Autumn-Winter 2025 collection reflects the contemporary dandy spirit, reinterpreted with a pragmatic and subtly Japanese touch. The wardrobe is based on functional pieces that combine craftsmanship and modernity. Patchwork leather jackets, slim suits and crystal-embroidered Japanese overalls illustrate this fusion. Japanese traditions also make their presence felt through the boro technique for denim outfits, Japanese character motifs and two trunks dedicated to tea and sake ceremonies.

A rich visual and cultural narrative

The show is full of nods to subcultures and pop art, with playful accessories such as crustacean-shaped bags and stylized charms. References to the 2000s are omnipresent, recalling the days when Pharrell Williams and Nigo founded Billionaire Boys Club. Models sport oversized hats, voluminous sneakers and leopard coats evoking grunge.

Pharrell Williams, a shrewd strategist

Pharrell Williams and Nigo aren’t just dressing up, they’re also innovating in their commercial approach. A pre-order via QR codes, interactive window displays and an archive sale on the Joopiter platform reinforce the exclusive aspect of this event. At the same time, the soundtrack, featuring an original track by J-hope and Don Toliver, “LV Bag”, completes the experience.
