Pierre Hermé signs La Poste stamps for Valentine’s Day
To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2025, La Poste has teamed up with Pierre Hermé Paris, fusing haute gastronomy and philately in an original collection.
For over 25 years, La Poste has been working with prestigious brands to create stamps dedicated to lovers’ day. After Chanel, Hermès and Lancôme, it’s now the turn of Pierre Hermé, nicknamed the “Picasso of pastry”, to sign a collection celebrating love through culinary art.
Ispahan and macaroons at the heart of Pierre Hermé’s creations
The 2025 stamps feature Ispahan, Pierre Hermé’s flagship creation, which combines rose, letchi and raspberry. Two elegant designs illustrate this famous dessert: a pink and red stamp with a raspberry macaroon and another, in orange-red tones, showing a hand holding this delicacy. Romantic hearts and a subtle rose fragrance enhance these philatelic works.
Pierre Hermé, founder of his culinary house in 1997, said, “Philately and pastry-making come together in a pact of transmission and sharing.” This collaboration embodies the idea of awakening emotions, whether tasting a dessert or sending a letter.
A preview launch in Paris
A preview of the stamps will be unveiled on January 24 and 25 at Pierre Hermé’s boutique in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, rue des Mathurins. They will then be available from January 27 in all La Poste sales outlets. A unique opportunity for collectors and pastry lovers alike.
This project once again illustrates La Poste’s commitment to combining creativity and heritage, while honoring an emblematic figure of French gastronomy. A wonderful way to celebrate love in all its forms, both sweet and epistolary.
