From heart to hand, Dolce&Gabbana unveils its immersive exhibition at the Grand Palais
Presented for the first time at Milan’s Palazzo Reale, facing the majestic Duomo, this exhibition drew crowds between April and July 2024. Dolce&Gabbana, founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, chose to highlight its most emblematic creations. Featuring 220 haute-couture pieces, the exhibition offered a glimpse of craftsmanship and inspiration drawn from the richness of Italian culture. For its latest stage, the exhibition is taking up residence in the newly renovated Grand Palais. This Parisian showcase will host the installation’s ten immersive rooms. Louvre Couture: fashion meets art
The Musée du Louvre is hosting an exceptional exhibition in 2025, “LOUVRE COUTURE: Objets d’art, objets de mode”. A unique immersion that explores the intimate links between fashion and art throughout history, in the majestic setting of the Louvre galleries. From January 24 to July 21, 2025, this groundbreaking exhibition offers a dialogue between masterpieces from the museum’s Objets d’art department and iconic haute couture pieces, from Cristóbal Balenciaga to Iris van Herpen. Stephen Jones, artist’s hats at the Palais Galliera
The Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de Paris, is devoting an exhibition to Stephen Jones. Revealing the work of this British designer, from his beginnings in the 1980s to his most recent collections. For the first time in over forty years, an accessory – the hat – is highlighted in this emblematic venue, elevated to the status of a work of art. Yves Saint-Laurent’s colorful flowers at the YSL Museum
The Yves Saint Laurent museum celebrates the couturier’s love of flowers in a groundbreaking exhibition, Les Fleurs d’Yves Saint Laurent, on view from September 20, 2024 to May 4, 2025. This retrospective explores the influence of floral motifs on his iconic creations, from his first embroideries in 1962 to the 1999 summer bride. A poetic dialogue is woven between her works and the world of Marcel Proust, her favorite writer. Drawings, textiles and accessories rub shoulders with installations by contemporary artist Sam Falls, offering a visual and literary tribute to nature and the art of the great couturier.

Musée des Arts Décoratifs sheds light on the “model deposit” in a fascinating exhibition
The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris opens its doors to a unique exhibition entitled “La mode en modèles: Photographies des années 1920-1930”, available until January 26, 2025. This retrospective looks at “model registration”, a little-known but crucial practice of the 1920s-1930s, used by the major luxury houses to combat counterfeiting. Faced with the cultural effervescence of the interwar period, this procedure enabled designers to protect their works from increasingly frequent imitations. Read more.
