Paris Fashion Week 2025: the complete calendar
Paris Fashion Week. Paris, the fashion capital of the world, is gearing up to host an exceptional program of Fashion Weeks in 2025. Between innovation and tradition, these events mark the perpetual evolution of the fashion industry.
A busy schedule from January 2025
Men’s Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 kicks off the year on Tuesday January 21, 2025, and closes on Sunday January 26. This first week will be closely followed by Haute Couture Week, where accredited and invited designers will unveil their Spring-Summer 2025 collections. This second event runs from Monday January 27 to Thursday January 30. An eagerly-awaited moment, especially for Alessandro Michele’s inaugural show at Valentino Haute Couture, an event that promises to leave its mark on the season.
Women’s ready-to-wear Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 will then take center stage from Monday March 3 to Tuesday March 11. This series of shows precedes a spring break before menswear returns with its spring-summer 2026 collections, from Tuesday June 24 to Sunday June 29, 2025. Finally, the prowess of Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 haute couture will be unveiled from Monday July 7 to Thursday July 10.
The season will conclude with the women’s spring-summer 2026 collections, to be held from Monday September 29 to Tuesday October 7, 2025. A configuration that reflects the traditional organization of Fashion Weeks while adapting to the industry’s new expectations.
Tradition and innovation
Historically, fashion shows were exclusively dedicated to haute couture. Designers presented their latest creations in the salons of their houses, an intimate and exclusive setting. While some brands continue this tradition, today’s venues often reflect a specific artistic direction, transforming each event into a unique experience.
Paris is the ideal backdrop for these shows. The capital offers emblematic locations, such as the Pont Neuf, which hosted Pharrell Williams’ first fashion show for Louis Vuitton. Saint Laurent remains faithful to the elegance of the Trocadero with the Eiffel Tower in the background, while Dior regularly installs ephemeral spaces in the Tuileries gardens. These exceptional settings underline the grandeur of Paris as a fashion capital.
A well-established structure
Fashion Weeks follow a precise rhythm, with an organization that allows brands to present their collections around six months before they go on sale. This allows time for production and distribution. In January, menswear opens the ball with its autumn-winter collections, while June is devoted to spring-summer. These key dates are interspersed with the women’s fashion shows and haute couture collections.
Haute couture remains the exception. Each piece is made to order, escaping the constraints of mass production. These exceptional creations are unveiled in January for the following spring-summer season, and in July for autumn-winter.
An international perspective
While Paris remains at the top, Fashion Weeks are part of a global calendar. They follow a well-established order: New York, London, Milan, and finally Paris. The latter is orchestrated by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, guaranteeing the coherence and excellence of Parisian events.
Every city has its own particularities. Paris, with its unique cultural and architectural heritage, offers an experience that few other capitals can match. Cruise or pre-fall shows, often organized outside traditional Fashion Weeks, also enable fashion houses to travel and explore new horizons, reinforcing their international reach.
What to expect in 2025
Among the highlights of the coming year, Valentino’s return under the direction of Alessandro Michele promises to be spectacular. This change at the helm of the Italian fashion house marks a revival eagerly awaited by critics and fashion lovers alike. Meanwhile, houses such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Chanel will continue to dazzle the public with grandiose stagings.
In June, Men’s Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2026 will reveal the trends that will mark the following season, while Haute Couture in July will unveil extraordinary creations. These unique collections are a reminder of why Paris is the cradle of fashion excellence.
