Maison Barrière Vendôme: a new star in the heart of Paris

In January 2025, the Maison Barrière Vendôme will open its doors in one of Paris’s most prestigious districts.

The ideal is in the details

The building, former headquarters of the Lacoste brand, has been completely renovated to accommodate this prestigious new address. La Maison Barrière Vendôme stands out for its obsession with detail and respect for craftsmanship. Right from the entrance, the tone is set: water-green walls, bird sculptures by Clémentine de Chabaneix, and a granito counter welcome visitors into a dreamlike, cinematic world. According to designer Daniel Jibert, “this entrance had to capture an emotion, something between dreams and cinema”.

A tribute to women from bedroom to table

The hotel offers 26 rooms and suites, each designed as a tribute to an exceptional woman. Corinne Evens, owner and manager of the group, has chosen to celebrate female figures. Represented are Sarah Bernhardt, Nina Simone and Marguerite Yourcenar (among others). Each space embodies a distinct personality. The muted gilding of the Marlène Dietrich suite is reminiscent of Hollywood.

The Frida restaurant, nestled in the center of the inner courtyard, is a tribute to Frida Kahlo. Beneath a contemporary steel structure, transported piece by piece by crane, Mediterranean zelliges and Murano glass fixtures evoke the boldness and color of the Mexican artist. In the kitchen, a Mexican chef will propose a cuisine exploring distant flavors.

Discreet luxury

While every element has been rethought, nothing feels new. The beams, the floors, the fabrics – every detail exudes authenticity. This approach reflects the designer’s desire to create a place where you feel good, “neither too much nor too little, just enough to dream a little”.

The common areas are brimming with elegant touches: quartz chandeliers, paintings by Atelier de Ricou, Lalique sconces and Pierre Frey fabric-covered headboards. Every detail, even a door handle, tells a story.

This luxurious pied-à-terre also offers apartments with fully-equipped kitchens and dining rooms, for an experience that combines home comforts with Parisian elegance.
