5 silk scarf brands for a change from Hermès squares
Soft, warm, colorful or sober, plain or multicolored, we love wearing them! Especially since they’ve been making a comeback for a few seasons now. But with Hermès out of the way, we’re turning to other brands for a change! Here are our five favorite brands.
Les Petits Foulards: a journey through patterns
Les Petits Foulards, founded by Agathe and Lorenzo, turn every accessory into an invitation to travel. Made in France from eco-friendly fabrics, their creations are inspired by faraway destinations. Each motif captures the essence of the places it represents.
Our favorite? The Eilat model (pictured), in bright Red Canyon colors. Bright hues and vibrant patterns, perfect for energizing an outfit. But be warned, the limited collaboration with The Magician is likely to take pride of place in our hearts.
Jacquemus: an iodized bandana
With its Pesco bandana, Jacquemus reinvents the classic accessory by infusing it with a Mediterranean touch. Available in three colors – yellow, blue and pink – this hand-signed silk square printed with fish motifs evokes seaside vacations. Compact and easy to wear, it measures 70×70 cm, making it a versatile choice for any wardrobe.
Maison Malfroy: 80 years of craftsmanship
Founded in 1939, Maison Malfroy is renowned for its scarves made from noble materials and its varied tailoring techniques. The in-house design office at their Saint-Genis-Laval workshop guarantees total control over the quality and originality of their creations.
Our favorite? Le Carré de soie 67 – Renoir, Rameurs à Chatou, from the great painters collection. Made in Italy, this scarf reflects a harmonious marriage of art and luxury. Soft textures and shades.
Inoui Editions: visual poetry
Born of the friendship between two passionate designers, Lise and Mathilde, Editions Inoui is known for its storytelling scarves. Set overlooking the Baie de Somme, their workshop is inspired by the region’s changing lights and enchanting landscapes.
Our favorite? The Astro model (Sagittarius sign), is part of an astrological collection that celebrates personalization and art. These hand-finished Italian silk squares are equally suitable as a gift for men or women.
Lescarf: Scandinavian minimalism
Founded in 2018 in Sweden by Natalie Karlsson and Karin Bylund, Lescarf advocates a streamlined aesthetic combining Scandinavian minimalism and Parisian luxury. Designed to be worn all year round, their scarves adapt to any outfit, whether draped around the neck, tied in the hair or hanging from a bag.
Our favorite? The Leo Scarf, measuring 80×80 cm, perfectly illustrates this philosophy with its sober design and high-quality materials.
