Messika x Le Meurice: a sparkling collaboration for the holidays
When haute joaillerie meets the culinary arts, the result is a unique and dazzling experience. This winter, Messika and Le Meurice join forces to offer a festive immersion where elegance and gourmandise meet.
Every year-end, Paris lights up with memorable experiences. This year, Maison Messika and the prestigious Le Meurice hotel unveil a refined collaboration. A blend of jewelry and pastry, their shared vision translates into breathtaking creations, to be discovered from November 23, 2024 to January 6, 2025.
A magical setting inspired by art and jewelry
Le Meurice, a true Parisian institution, has always maintained close ties with art, welcoming iconic artists such as Salvador Dalí and Philippe Starck. This collaboration extends this heritage by incorporating Messika’s iconic motifs, including the famous “Move”. Under the direction of Valérie Messika, dazzling decors transform the palace’s spaces into a veritable winter garden, illuminated in shades of gold, copper pink and silver.
A gourmet log that plays on illusion
The centerpiece of this collaboration is undoubtedly the Christmas log, designed by pastry chef François Deshayes and inspired by Messika’s jewelry creations. Presented in a chocolate case designed by Alain Ducasse, the opening reveals an edible trompe-l’œil sculpture: three “diamonds” of vanilla, praline and fleur de sel chocolate.
For François Deshayes, ” this creation is a tribute to surprise and precision, two values shared by Messika and patisserie “.
This precious, limited-edition log can only be enjoyed at Le Meurice’s Restaurant Le Dalí.
