Christmas lights in Paris: discover the most beautiful spots

Every year, Paris is transformed into a veritable showcase of light for the Christmas season. Discover the not-to-be-missed Christmas illuminations for this 2024 season, where every neighborhood shines with a thousand lights.

Avenue Montaigne: elegance and festivities

Since November 20,Avenue Montaigne and Rue François 1ᵉʳ have been illuminated to plunge Parisians into a fairytale atmosphere. These illuminations sparkle until January 6, 2025. They are accompanied by Christmas Montaigne, an event that brings luxury boutiques to life every Sunday in December. Tastings, surprises and conviviality are the order of the day.

Champs-Élysées: the Christmas must-have

The famous illuminations on the Champs-Élysées were inaugurated on November 24, 2024, in the presence of Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024. Every evening, until midnight (and all night on December 24 and 31), the world’s most beautiful avenue sparkles with eco-responsible LED lights.

Visitors can enjoy this magical spectacle as they stroll among the illuminated shop windows and surrounding Christmas markets.

Bercy Village: between tradition and originality

Since November 21, 2024, Bercy Village has been adorned with luminous bouquets of mistletoe hanging over its open-air walkway. Inspired by the tradition of kissing under the mistletoe, this enchanting decor invites romance and magic.

Festive events are planned throughout the season, including a visit from Santa Claus on December 14 and 21 for magical moments with children, complete with magic tricks. A sleigh ride is also scheduled for December 15. What’s more, from December 7, 2024 onwards, shows will punctuate the weekends to amaze young and old alike.

Faubourg Saint-Honoré: a charity evening under the stars

On November 26, 2024, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré will inaugurate its Christmas illuminations in style. In partnership with the Princesse Margot association, the evening will combine magic and generosity. The launch, scheduled for 7pm, will be led by Emmanuelle Béart, Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021) and the Committee’s organizers.

On the program: a brass band, the Garde Républicaine parade and a DJ set by Miss Kriss. Until January 15, 2025, a charity tombola will offer the chance to win exceptional prizes while supporting a noble cause. The illuminations, meanwhile, feature eco-responsible structures and recyclable decorations, symbols of a commitment to a sustainable Christmas.
