Chanel opens a Maison de Beauté in Paris
Chanel inaugurates a new space dedicated to beauty in the heart of Paris’ 16th arrondissement. Located at 1, chaussée de la Muette, this he beauty house engages customers in a total immersion of the Chanel universe, with 180 m² on three floors.
Design in the spirit of Chanel
From the moment you enter, the façade embodies the elegance of Chanel. The walls are white, the windows edged in black. Wrought-iron railings and the double-C logo adorn the banisters. The architecture combines Parisian classicism and Chanel style. “This house expresses Chanel’s French spirit, his unique taste, and is part of a typically French decorative arts vocabulary“. Explains Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Managing Director, Creative Resources, Perfumes & Beauty.
A sales area entirely dedicated to beauty products
Inside, Chanel beauty products are transformed into architectural elements. The design is marked by emblematic symbols such as the N°5 bottle, revisited in counters, and the “curved square” palette, imposing in the entrance. White stone floors, black suede walls and black-and-white furniture recall the house’s color codes. The décor incorporates large campaign photos, including Margot Robbie’s for N°5, while the screens are reduced in size for an immersive experience.
The product offering is complete: all make-up shades, skincare and fragrance collections, including the Les Exclusifs line and best-sellers. A library-like installation presents all Chanel fragrances. An AI-assisted workshop helps customers find their ideal fragrance.
Tailor-made beauty services
For a more personalized experience, Chanel offers express make-up and facial services. In a discreet capsule, customers can enjoy treatments using cryotherapy, radiofrequency or microcurrents, tailored to individual needs.
The second floor is dedicated to treatments, with two cabins decorated in a refined style. The white walls, embellished with camellia flowers and tweed plaids designed by Lesage, create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Chanel offers exclusive treatments such as L’Allure body care and Le Grand Soin, a 2h30 or 3-hour experience combining facial and body care. These treatments use the “La Fascia de Chanel” technique, developed with fasciatherapy specialist Hélène Bourhis-Bois.
Each treatment and massage follows this unique method, which aims to offer a moment of absolute well-being. Chanel combines its expertise and values in this new location, reinventing beauty in the heart of Paris.
