Christian Louboutin and Coco Brandolini d’Adda: a committed collection
Christian Louboutin unveils an exclusive capsule collection with Coco Brandolini d’Adda, featuring just 162 pairs and reclaimed fabrics for more sustainable fashion. Paris Select loves it and salutes the intention.
Luxury footwear legend Christian Louboutin once again creates a sensation with a brand-new collaboration. In September, during Paris Fashion Week, he had already dazzled with an aquatic show in the Molitor swimming pool, where his famous red soles literally danced in the water. Today, he launches a special capsule in partnership with Coco Brandolini d’Adda, designer of the d’Adda brand and long-time friend. On Instagram, Coco Brandolini made no secret of her pride at having a project with Louboutin as her “first collaboration”.
Eco-responsible and limited
This capsule line is as daring as it is limited: it comprises 162 unique pieces, including pumps, sandals, flats and a brand-new boot model called Adadda. The latter features a U-shaped cutout at the ankles, adding a contemporary, elegant touch. With this collection, Coco Brandolini has sublimated Louboutin’s designs with fabrics from her own Fall 2022 collection, highlighting a revalorization and circularity approach.
Louboutin: towards more sustainable fashion
Christian Louboutin, aware of ecological issues, integrates sustainability into its creations. On its website, the brand reaffirms its commitment to responsible materials, aiming to use only leathers certified by the Leather Working Group by the end of the decade. This capsule with d’Adda also reflects this desire to reduce environmental impact by reusing surplus fabrics, rather than resorting to new materials.
The Louboutin x d’Adda capsule collection embodies a shared commitment to fashion that respects the environment.
