Aquascope: Futuroscope’s revolutionary new indoor water park
Futuroscope, famous for its innovative experiences, continues to dazzle with the imminent opening of Aquascope, its indoor water park. After the success of recent attractions such as Tornado Hunters, voted best attraction in the world, and themed hotels such as EcolodgeeFuturoscope is embarking on a new adventure combining technology and aquatic immersion.
This 7,000 m² park, including an outdoor section accessible on sunny days, is set to offer a unique experience combining water and digital art.
An unprecedented space at the heart of three immersive worlds
Aquascope features three themed areas, guaranteeing varied and spectacular experiences.
Immersion: the fusion of water and digital art
This space, entitled Les Abysses de Lumière, offers a true sensory adventure. The park blends water with digital technologies such as video mapping, light effects and media projections. This poetic world transports visitors into a dreamlike atmosphere where reality and imagination merge.
Sensations: for thrill-seekers
This area is designed for thrill-seekers. The Rift is home to eight vertiginous slides, some of which offer free-fall experiences or spiral descents. One of the star attractions is the Matrix, a world-exclusive collective buoy slide.
The Kraki Rift: a children’s paradise
For the very young, Kraki’s Rift is a brightly colored interactive space. Children aged 3 and over can explore a world filled with water games, colorful slides and musical caves, under the benevolent eye of Kraki, an iconic extraterrestrial octopus.
An ambitious eco-responsible project
Aquascope is part of an ambitious ecological initiative. Thanks to an investment of 57 million euros, the water park is committed to reducing its environmental footprint. Initiatives include
- Zero land artificialisation: They built the entire project on existing infrastructure, without using any new land. They also returned 2,500 m² to nature by planting 700 plant species.
- 100% green energy: Aquascope runs on an energy mix that includes photovoltaic, thermodynamic and biomass technologies.
- Water conservation: A natural filtration system has been installed to recycle water before returning it to the environment.
