The Faubourg and Rue Saint-Honoré axis designated as the epicenter of global luxury
A recent study by Seiki places this Parisian district above other major international avenues known for their high-end shopping DNA. Thanks to the work of the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the Faubourg, Rue Saint-Honoré and Royal axis has been designated as the epicenter of global luxury, surpassing other emblematic locations. The Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré has been working for years to promote the district and develop its appeal.
A revealing study of luxury in Paris
Seiki’s study, conducted between January 2023 and May 2024, covers 15 countries and analyzes 25 major luxury avenues. The results show that Faubourg Saint-Honoré attracts CSP++ and international clientele with very high incomes. Attendance by these groups is 61% to 73% higher than on the other avenues analyzed. It even exceeds such prestigious avenues as Via Monte Napoleone in Milan and Madison Avenue in New York. Faubourg Saint-Honoré has the highest density of luxury stores per square metre. Visitors from the United States, China and the Middle East spent an average of €3,326 there in the first half of 2024. This figure exceeds that of the Champs-Élysées or Avenue Montaigne.
A neighborhood that attracts celebrities
Thanks to its unique style and chic atmosphere, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré is a favorite spot for many celebrities. Every year, French and international stars come here to experience exceptional moments. They appreciate the elegance of the events, the diversity of the entertainment and the quality of the shops. Whether for shopping, attending exclusive launches, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, Faubourg Saint-Honoré remains an address not to be missed.
A redevelopment project for 2025
The Committee, chaired by Benjamin Cymerman, has announced a major redevelopment project. The project will begin in the first quarter of 2025. It is co-financed by the City of Paris and the Comité, illustrating a close collaboration. The project aims to beautify the neighborhood and make it even more attractive. This initiative reflects the Comité’s mission to preserve and enhance the unique heritage of Faubourg Saint-Honoré. In addition to its role as promoter, the Comité represents the neighborhood’s stakeholders in dealings with public authorities. Its aim is to ensure that this emblematic luxury district continues to shine on the international stage.
