Vendémiaire: the elegant new brasserie in Paris

In the heart of Paris, the Vendémiaire restaurant has established itself as a new must-visit address for lovers of French gastronomy. Located in the 7th arrondissement, this chic brasserie combines tradition and modernity in a warm atmosphere. But more than just a restaurant, Vendémiaire embodies a true passion for conviviality and local cuisine.

The place, imagined by Vendémiaire Nadd-Mitterrand, a former lawyer and property developer, is coming to life thanks to an ambitious project. When it opens in July 2024, the brasserie will attract attention not only for the quality of its cuisine. But also by the singular story of its founder, who, after an eventful career, decided to enter the restaurant business. Transforming the former “Chez les Anges” restaurant into what is now Vendémiaire, Nadd-Mitterrand set out to create a place where people could meet and share. Inspired by the spirit of harvest month and the neighborhood’s historic heritage.

A unique setting for an exceptional gastronomic experience

The brasserie is distinguished by its contemporary design, by the Black Balloon agency, and a decor that combines bright colors and noble materials. The result is a space that is both modern and retro. This attention to detail extends to the different atmospheres offered by the establishment: a private lounge for 12 people, a large dining room for up to 80 diners. And a summer terrace for 60 guests. These spaces offer everyone a unique and memorable experience. Whether for a quick lunch, an intimate dinner or an evening with friends.

Vendémiaire also relies on a talented chef, Santiago Guerrero, whose background is as atypical as it is brilliant. After arriving in Paris to study law, Santiago quickly changed direction to follow his passion for gastronomy. Today, he offers an evolving, seasonal menu, highlighting local French produce. Emphasis is placed on the quality of ingredients, with a focus on short circuits and local suppliers such as the Champ de Mars butcher’s shop and Maison Bergeron bakery.

Cuisine: a tribute to local produce and the seasons

Vendémiaire offers a short but varied menu. Comprising four starters, four main courses and four desserts, it changes according to the season and new arrivals. The culinary offering is rounded off by exceptional items such as roast prime rib or grilled rack of lamb. These dishes are carefully prepared with locally sourced ingredients, guaranteeing freshness and incomparable taste.

Chef Guerrero, surrounded by a passionate team, offers typical brasserie dishes reinterpreted with a touch of creativity. Must-tries include beef tartare with fried capers. Or trout fillet with beurre blanc and trout roe. Vegetarian enthusiasts are not left out with dishes. These include roasted cauliflower and pan-fried seasonal mushrooms.

A friendly atmosphere for epicureans

The watchword at Vendémiaire is conviviality. Whether you come for a simple drink or a gourmet meal, the restaurant team does its utmost to make every guest feel at home. The aim is to create a place where locals, tourists and lovers of good food come together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

With its authentic cuisine and exceptional setting, Vendémiaire is fast establishing itself as one of Paris’s must-visit brasseries.
