Céline Beauté: the luxury house expands into cosmetics
Céline takes another step forward with the launch of Céline Beauté. The very first cosmetics line under the direction of Hedi Slimane.
After making its mark on the fashion world with Hedi Slimane, luxury house Céline launches Céline Beauté. This development continues Céline’s return to haute parfumerie. It was reintroduced in 2019 after an absence of over 50 years. The launch of Céline Beauté in 2024 is a natural extension of this. This initiative also echoes the current trend where major fashion houses are increasingly diversifying into beauty, as Hermès, Valentino and Balmain have done. Céline, as the latest major player to enter this fast-growing market, has chosen to unveil its make-up line through a campaign. The campaign was called La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe. This collection marks Céline’s first step into the world of beauty. It marks the opening of a new chapter for the fashion house.
Céline Beauté: elegant, modern signature products
The new Céline Beauté range is inaugurated by the launch ofan emblematic lipstick: Le Rouge Triomphe. This satin-finish red is already available exclusively in selected boutiques, including Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris and Le Bon Marché. It is also the first product in this line. Dressed in a cylindrical gold case stamped with the famous “Triomphe” monogram, it perfectly illustrates the couture and refined touch of the house. This lipstick is also formulated with 89% ingredients of natural origin.
From January 2025, Céline Beauté will expand its collection with fourteen new shades, including the much-anticipated La Peau Nue. This shade is already featured in the company’s latest campaigns. In addition to lipsticks, Céline will also offer a full range of make-up products. It includes lip balms, mascaras, eyeliners, eye pencils, nail polishes and blushes. With its“couture” approach, Céline Beauté has already established itself as a new benchmark in the world of beauty.
