AMI Paris takes over the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann rooftop
From July 3 to September 2, AMI and Galeries Lafayette Haussmann will be celebrating summer. The brand will be taking over several areas of the department store, starting with the rooftop of the Magasin Coupole, to offer a range of different activations! The AMI Promenadeinvites you to discover a pleasant space on the terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. You’ll find magnificent beach cabins and deckchairs in white and blue tones. Visitors can also enjoy a recreational area. A Ami de cœur structure adorned with flags, and La Cabane featuring an ice cream parlour, drinks and a crêperie by chef Julien Sebbag. All with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the capital!
And discover the summer capsule collection: La Plage AMI
This summer, AMI Paris launches an irresistible capsule collection in blue, white and red: La Plage AMI. The collection features unisex ready-to-wear pieces and a range of accessories that are sure to win you over. La Plage AMI includes short-sleeved shirts, stylish windbreakers and comfortable shorts… all adorned with tricolored stripes, specially designed for Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann.
You’ll also find tote bags and beach towels. This limited-edition collection also includes AMI classics. They are available in black or white, embossed with the emblematic logo. This exclusive capsule collection is on display in 2 of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann windows from July 5 to August 28, with a third window dedicated to the Spring-Summer 24 collection.
Enjoy summer on the roof of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann
An ephemeral summer hangout, Créatures has established itself as the must-visit spot of the Parisian summer. Still orchestrated by Julien Sebbag, the capital’s coolest rooftop has reinvented itself, notably with Créatures Bakery. For lunch or dinner, the concept is unchanged, with a 100% vegetarian menu. A concentrate of Mediterranean cuisine, local and seasonal sharing, in colorful, gourmet dishes. On the menu this season: Summertime Sadness foccacia with zucchini, black olives and red onions, served with straciatella and pistachios. Golden Hour: deliciously golden potatoes topped with a medium-rare soft-boiled egg and doped with an unforgettable homemade aioli & stem capers. Or an incredible Strawberry Field Forever Part. 2 as you’ve never seen it before.
Refreshing pop-ups at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet
To celebrate France’s favorite dessert in style, Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet is setting up a number of pop-ups to showcase the best ice-cream brands. Until September 10, the first floor of Le Gourmet will be home to Bachir ice creams. Founded in 1936 by brothers Maurice and Edouard Bachir, these ice creams are prepared with exotic ingredients.
For example, mastique, orange blossom and rosewater. During the pop-up, you’ll be able to sample the house specialty: achta. Finally, from July 17 to August 27, renowned chocolatier and patissier Pierre Marcolini will take over Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet with a new range of ice creams. This pop-up, also located in the maille area, will offer ice creations that promise to delight fans of artisanal sweets.
Gourmet workshops all summer long
This summer, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is offering exclusive culinary workshops. Learn how to make macaroons under the guidance of a Pastry Chef, mastering every step of the process, from shell to ganache. In partnership with the FERRANDI Paris school, discover“Les Secrets du Pâtissier” and“Les Secrets du Chef“: courses where you will learn to prepare iconic desserts and dishes of French gastronomy. Supervised by renowned chefs, these workshops offer tips, tricks and techniques for making home-made creations worthy of the finest restaurants. Convivial moments guaranteed!
