Lisa from Blackpink becomes new Louis Vuitton ambassador
This Tuesday, July 23, luxury brand Louis Vuitton announced the appointment of singer Lisa, a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, as its new ambassador.
The K-Pop industry seems to be booming. In July, Jin, star of the group BTS, was named ambassador for Maison Fred. Now it’s Blackpink’s Lisa’ s turn to become Louis Vuitton‘s new ambassador. The French fashion house says:“Her audacity, energy and success are perfectly in line with the values carried by Louis Vuitton: passion for creativity, commitment to artistic excellence“, Lalisa Manobal says of her new recruit.
For the occasion, Louis Vuitton shared several shots of the Thai-born singer on its Instagram account. The brand also released a promotional film, available on Youtube, in which Lisa shows her crush on the Pic Trunk Monogram mini-trunk. This nomination should provide Louis Vuitton with even greater visibility, especially as Lisa has established herself as one of the most followed celebrities on social networks. Indeed, on Instagram, the icon has over 104 million followers!
