The experience begins with the appetizing delicacies displayed on the central buffet. Start by choosing your hot drink and smoothie, then select the pastries and cakes presented on a tray. Offering an Instagram-worthy setting, Fleur de Poire Hibiscus combines crumble, blackcurrant flower water mousse and pear, grapefruit and hibiscus compote, while Chocolat Craquant deftly plays with different chocolate textures. Procope

Entering a place that has endured since 1686 inevitably evokes a special emotion. Tucked away in the depths of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this legendary address has played host over the centuries to the Parisian elite and illustrious figures who have left their mark on history. In 2024, Le Procope reinvents itself, undergoing a transformation orchestrated by Parisian interior design studio Friedmann & Versace. The result is a new Café-Glacier lounge, in perfect harmony with the aesthetics of the place and its grandiose past. It’s worth remembering that Le Procope, before it was a brasserie, was the first 17th-century café to serve this beverage just imported from the Ottoman Empire!

A gourmet break is offered, a formula including a dessert of your choice accompanied by a hot beverage of your choice from the famous coffee, tea or divine hot chocolate. On the menu, a major surprise awaits you: a gourmet creation by Christelle Brua, voted best pastry chef in the world in 2018, who has imagined a sumptuous creamy chocolate and coffee tart for Le Procope. The house crêpes flambées, with Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, are delicious, as are the ice creams and sorbets available in creative cuts, such as Limoncello with lemon and mandarin sorbets, mini limoncello baba, chantilly. The Fior di Latte ice cream with whipped cream and milk jam, overflowing from its cup, will satisfy the desires of even the most demanding gourmets!

Angelina

As well as being a glamorous tea time,Angelina ‘s afternoon tea is also very gourmet. While the British tradition is to enjoy tea, Angelina’s hot chocolate is so mythical that it seems impossible to pass it up! The final decision is yours, and once you’ve chosen your hot drink, you can indulge in an assortment of savoury items such as small clubs and a selection of mini-pastries, macaroons and madeleines. It’s all delicious, and you’ll leave with unforgettable flavors in your mouth!
