Chez Thai: the perfect place to have lunch between two Olympic events in Neuilly-sur-Seine

Looking for THE perfect Asian restaurant for lunch during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games? Paris Select unveils Chez Thai, located in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

Opened in 1981, this family-run restaurant, now run by the second generation, is a veritable institution in western Paris. Chez Thaï quickly established a solid reputation among local residents. It’s also a popular venue for business lunches. Stéphane Su, after a remarkable career in the luxury sector and several years spent in Shanghai, perfected his culinary skills at the prestigious Ferrandi school.

He then took over the reins of his parents’ restaurant, where he spent his afternoons after school. Today, he manages a team of 14 people, all from Thailand, from chef to dishwasher. This team brings unparalleled authenticity and expertise to the culinary experience. It makes Chez Thaï a must for Thai food lovers. This makes the restaurant the perfect place to chill out, inside the restaurant or in the heart of the pretty terrace, between two Paris 2024 Olympic Games events.

Chez Thai: authentic, tasty cuisine

Chez Thai

Chez Thaï offers fragrant, colorful and authentic Asian cuisine that will take your senses and taste buds on a journey all summer long. Inspired primarily by Thailand’s gastronomic heritage, the recipes also incorporate various Southeast Asian influences, such as those from Vietnam, Hong Kong and parts of China. This culinary fusion creates a bridge between different cultures.

Among the chef’s recommendations are crab claws sautéed in black soy sauce, egg rolls with duck stuffing and king prawns in spicy devil sauce. Must-tries also include scallops with fragrant mushrooms, stuffed crab and even black cod with ginger. These fresh, traditional recipes offer an explosion of flavours!

Chez Thai

The signature dish, Crying Tiger, is prepared with Wagyu beef, including the famous Kobe meat. This meat is reputed to be the best in the world, thanks to its exceptional marbled texture. Desserts, based on fresh fruit and coconut, are subtle and not very sweet. The perfect way to round off a meal. The carefully selected wine list is perfectly matched to the dishes, solving the equation for the perfect table! And the chef’s big surprise: Chez Thai has also launched a large part of its Click-&-Collect offer for customers who want to follow the Olympic Games from home. What a great idea, isn’t it?
