Tour Eiffel Effect: a new immersive experience that’s a must-see!

This July 9, the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE), in partnership with Lagardère & Arteum and Mira, inaugurates: Tour Eiffel Effect. Paris Select shares all the secrets of this new immersive experience!

Would you like to discover the iconic Eiffel Tower in a different way? From July 10, 2024, you can take part in a new immersive experience called Tour Eiffel Effect. Conceived by Mira, a New York startup specializing in hyper-realistic metavers, this adventure opens up new horizons by blending reality, the virtual and entertainment. And what better place to discover this exclusive experience than on the second floor of the iconic Iron Lady. A strategic choice, since this floor is the least frequented of all.

“As an emblematic monument to Parisian innovation and heritage, the Eiffel Tower is now enriching its visitors’ experience with the Tour Eiffel Effect initiative. This modern experience, inspired by adventure games, showcases the Tower’s majestic architecture.. It also promises visitors new perspectives and unprecedented sensations,” comments Jean-François Martins, President of the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE).

Eiffel Tower Effect: making everything… even the impossible possible

Imagined as an extension of a real visit, Tour Eiffel Effect reveals the monument from an innovative angle. This animation transports visitors into a narrative universe worthy of today’s best video games. During the 12-minute experience, spectators become actors, reinventing their own space/time. Aboard a Zeppelin (a dirigible flying machine), participants plunge into a captivating adventure to unravel the mysteries of time.

Equipped with a virtual reality headset, visitors take in panoramic views of the capital and experience free flight around the Eiffel Tower. It’s a memorable experience that’s sure to make you dizzy! Working in teams of 2 to 4, participants are tasked with solving a series of temporal anomalies. They have to find the lost Tower fragments on each floor. You also need to spot its glitches to preserve its history. Visitors experience a spectacular night-time flight around the illuminated Eiffel Tower and its fireworks display. Just like July 14th!

Tickets can only be purchased on site if you have an Eiffel Tower access ticket!

The experience is recommended for healthy adults and children aged 11 and over. No available for children under 8. Please note: due to the technology involved, virtual reality experiences are not recommended for pregnant women..
