Like Kendall Jenner, book a private tour of the Louvre

Impossible to miss this news. On June 26, American model Kendall Jenner rented the Musée du Louvre for a date night with Bad Bunny. But do you also have the option of doing so?

Exploring the treasures of the Louvre Museum and gazing at the Mona Lisa in complete privacy… It’s a dream, isn’t it? But that’s what Kendall Jenner experienced. She was accompanied by reggaeton singer Bad Bunny when they visited the capital for Paris Fashion Week and Vogue World. Snapshots of the model, alone in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous work, emerged on Instagram. And this has made many an art lover’s dream come true. And it’s obvious that such an experience is out of reach for the average visitor.

But Kendall Jenner isn’t the first celebrity to have had this privilege. In 2014, Beyoncé and JAY-Z filmed their APESHIT video in the museum’s most prestigious rooms. Last February, British singer Ed Sheeran also rented the Louvre Museum to organize a surprise private visit for his parents. What if you, too, could live this experience?

Rent the Louvre Museum by night

Louvre Museum

Rent the Louvre Museum for an evening visit or private event is no longer exclusive to Hollywood stars. The museum offers a prestigious setting for corporate events from 50 to 3,000 guests. A private tour for less than 50 people can cost up to €11,700, according to the Louvre’s private events brochure. Rental of the room beneath the famous glass pyramid is in excess of €36,000.

The cost of filming films, series or video clips inside and outside the museum is estimated at €18,000. Documentaries highlighting the Louvre’s heritage are more affordable, at around 1,000 euros per day. Although the Louvre does not cater for weddings, it remains the ideal venue for private and corporate events such as receptions and cocktail parties.
