He then honed his skills with Christian Lacroix in Paris. His career then continued in Italy with the Iceberg brand, before returning to France in 1994 to join Sonia Rykiel. In 1997, Peter Copping became Marc Jacobs‘ right-hand man for 12 years, when he was Artistic Director of the luxury Maison Louis Vuitton. He later held positions as artistic director at several prestigious houses, including Nina Ricci, Oscar de la Renta and Balenciaga where he oversaw the reintroduction of couture in 2021. In each of his collections, Peter Copping offers a modern, sensual and elegant vision of the woman.
