Demna, Artistic Director of the House of Balenciaga, never ceases to impress us at Haute Couture Fashion Week. For his fourth couture collection, the designer takes a bold step away from Cristóbal Balenciaga‘s traditional silhouettes. He offers down jacket dresses, oversized pieces, technical garments and hoodies, using materials that he has loved for a decade. A surprising collection that confirms his taste for breaking with convention.

For this Haute Couture collection, Nicolas Di Felice wanted to pay tribute to Jean-Paul Gaultier’s aesthetic in all its diversity. The chromatic palette is composed of shades of black, white, navy blue and brown. Transparency adds a touch of sensuality to dresses and unstructured looks. Nicolas Di Felice also highlighted an emblematic Jean-Paul Gaultier element: the famous corset. He had fun reinventing it and adapting it to his own vision.
