Dior unveils new exhibition at Galerie Dior
Described as “a haven of wonder”… The Galerie de la maison Dior has reinvented itself to host a brand new retrospective exhibition.
The Galerie Dior bears witness to the visionary audacity of its legendary designers. These include Christian Dior, as well as his successors: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri. And, within its walls, some of the house’s iconic pieces have seen the light of day, starting with the iconic New Look.
Located at 30, avenue Montaigne, the gallery welcomed guests and friends of Monsieur Dior. Prestigious clients and celebrities from all over the world come to discover this temple of Haute Couture dedicated to dreams. Today, the Galerie Dior, concerned with preserving the precious works conserved by Dior Héritage, is offering a new retrospective tour. It presents almost 150 new models, accompanied by over a hundred archive documents and photographs.

In the room dedicated to L’allure Dior, a selection of prints by Viviane Sassen is unveiled alongside the most iconic creations. This long-time collaborator of the House of Dior has already signed many famous images and has created a new series of photos taken in the Haute Couture ateliers of 30 Montaigne. These images, reworked using painting and collage techniques, give life to unique compositions. They capture the essence of Dior allure through the ages.
The exhibition also traces the birth of the Miss Dior ready-to-wear line in 1967. For the first time, it also features a room dedicated to Dior scarves. Symbols of versatility and stylistic innovation since 1947. Les Ateliers du Rêve pays tribute to Dior’s artisans, offering a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of the House’s creativity. Spread over 13 themed rooms, this new exhibition is a wonderful exploration of Dior’s rich heritage, between past and present.
