Tiphaine Boucleinville-Cardona, flavourist at DAMMANN Frères, took on the challenge of creating a tea dedicated to the Eiffel Tower.
Creator of flavored teas for over 70 years with the creation of its first modern flavored tea, Goût Russe Douchka, DAMMANN Frères likes to think of its craft of creating scented blends as akin to that of perfumers. Each recipe requires a perfect understanding of the aromatic qualities of each tea, and the fragrances and flavours of each fruit, spice and flower.
The balance of a recipe is built by mastering the combinations of tea, essential oils, spices and aromas, so that it is harmonious and gourmet… From breathing in the dry leaves to tasting the infusion. Tiphaine Boucleinville-Cardona then worked on Tour Eiffel tea like a perfumery nose, like a pastry chef for its gourmet balance in a cup. By blending the flavors of almond, vanilla and rose, she has created a delicate tea. What better way to bring together in a single creation the skilful, enchanting spirit of artisan perfumers and patissiers?
