This weekend, enjoy the 23rd edition of the Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival

Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival

Once again this year, the Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival will once again bring French and international artists to life over four days, to the delight of festival-goers… including you! Tailor-made for Enghien-Les-Bains by the Barrière group in June 2000, the Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival is based on the fact that gospel, blues and jazz are at the origin of most of today’s musical rhythms.

It is therefore designed to be open to all these musical genres, as well as to the multiple currents that have emerged from them. It also fosters encounters between legendary headliners and emerging talents. Last but not least, it builds bridges between generations of audiences by promoting accessibility to the widest possible audience with its free open-air concerts. From the jazz club to the floating stage on the lake, via the Jardin des Roses stage, the concerts – most of which are free – follow one another in a euphoria of sounds and rhythms that invite you to dance or take a spiritual stroll.

The Festival is located in : ENGHIEN-LES-BAINS – 3 Avenue de Ceinture 95880 Enghien-les-Bains

From June 21 to 23, 2023, the Longines Global Champions Tour – Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Three days of free events open to all are organized on the Champ de Mars. The various LGCT-LPEJ Villages symbolize sharing, conviviality, know-how, art, culture and well-being.

This incredible event brings together nearly 250 horses and as many riders, representing 22 different nationalities. Several show jumping events will be organized. To everyone’s delight, the village is alive with entertainment for young and old. Art exhibitions, discovery and cultural workshops, free access to the training paddock, shopping areas and an area dedicated to horse well-being.

Glue the pieces back together with the Kintsugi

weekend

Push open the doors ofMichiyo’s workshop and let yourself be enchanted by theancestral art of kintsugi. After a brief introduction to the technique, you’ll have the opportunity to put your kintsugi skills into practice ! Choose your favorite piece from Michiyo’s collection, or bring your own broken object to restore using this unique technique.

Kintsugi involves sublimating the object’s “wounds” using vegetable lacquer and gold, silver or colored lacquer powder. The scars thus created on repaired objects tell a story, making them particularly precious. During the workshop, Michiyo will guide you through a simplified version of kintsugi using resin glue and brass. These reconstituted objects will enhance your emotions as well as your bookshelves or furniture for a touch of handmade decoration!
