This summer, the Hôtel de Crillon celebrates art and sport with a unique exhibition of skateboards designed by renowned international artists . Such as Cindy Sherman, Juergen Teller, Jeff Koons and artist Inès Longevial, in partnership with THE SKATEROOM . From June 18 to September 14, 2024, this exceptional event takes place in the heart of Paris.
A visionary collaboration
To coincide with the 2024 summer sporting events, the Hôtel de Crillon is teaming up with THE SKATEROOM. A social platform that combines art and skateboarding for projects with a social impact. This collaboration embodies the hotel’s ongoing commitment to creativity and solidarity. While embracing the modern energy of skateboarding and the transformative power of art. This exhibition promises to unveil an immersive, artistic experience in the iconic Hôtel de Crillon.
The art of skateboarding
The Hôtel de Crillon puts the spotlight on skateboarding, recently added to the official program of summer sporting events. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the history of this global event, and motivates the collaboration between the hotel and THE SKATEROOM. The exhibition presents an artistic vision orchestrated by Sarah Andelman. An influential figure in Parisian fashion and culture, and founder of Just an Idea.
An exceptional exhibition
The exhibition was designed by Aline Asmar d’Amman, architect and founder of Culture in Architecture. The works are meticulously selected in collaboration with THE SKATEROOM and are exhibited in various areas of the Hôtel de Crillon. Including the lobby, bar and Signature Suites, offering visitors a unique and immersive artistic experience.
Inès Longevial: An artist in the spotlight
The exhibition also features an exclusive limited edition of works by French artist Inès Longevial, renowned for her intimate, colorful and impressionistic paintings. The pieces, priced at €185 (solo) and €500 (triptych), embody the fusion of art and skateboarding. 10% of sales will be donated to THE SKATEROOM’s social partners, underlining the charitable commitment of this collaboration.
