Jacquemus announces the opening of a new restaurant in Saint-Tropez

A few years after the opening of the Parisian Citron and Oursin… Jacquemus announces the forthcoming inauguration of a new gourmet restaurant in Saint-Tropez.

In Paris, it’s vacation time… Let’s head for the Côte d’Azur! How about a glamorous, sunny getaway to Saint-Tropez? Heavenly beaches, trendy clubs, designer boutiques… But above all, a future gourmet restaurant by Simon Porte Jacquemus.

Indeed, the French designer, originally from Marseille, has just shared the news on his Instagram account. White and yellow striped armchairs, light curtains dancing in the wind, fresh lemons… The immaculate furnishings, enhanced by details in sunny colors, already evoke the Mediterranean ambience. A lemon tree stands proudly in one corner, and olive oil is freely available on the tables… Jacquemus continues to deploy its unique identity throughout France.

“A beach… a restaurant and a boutique…” says the designer in this teaser-like post, which locates this initiative on the French Riviera. Although the opening date of this new establishment has not yet been revealed, the ephemeral or permanent nature of this project also remains a mystery .

Indeed, the designer is often adept at pop-up concepts. For example, Jacquemus has already experimented with several ephemeral boutiques along the Mediterranean coast, from Ramatuelle to the Italian coast . With this future address in the Tropézienne, Jacquemus confirms the growing trend among luxury brands to diversify their activities in the field of gastronomy. Joining other major fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, who have also enriched their worlds by opening restaurants and cafés around the world.
