Djula: the VIP’s favorite jeweler
A young Parisian company, Djula has rapidly established itself as a benchmark in the field thanks to its superb ethical jewelry. The collections are based on the codes of traditional jewelry, while following the latest trends to the letter.

The story
Under the impetus of Alexandre Corrot, Djula builds its collections like real works of art. From its beginnings in 1997, the brand focused on costume jewelry before turning to jewelry with pure, graphic lines. The idea? To offer diamond jewelry at affordable, wearable everyday prices. In other words, a way to de-bourgeoisize the big names of Place Vendôme.
The first boutique opened on rue des Saints-Pères in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. This first showcase was soon followed by others in the capital’s chic districts: towards the Madeleine, Saint-Honoré, Haussmann, Passy…
House values
Beyond the codes of traditional jewelry, the spirit of this jewelry store is that of a young Parisian fashion house that sets trends while adhering to an ethical approach. Djula is committed to knowing the origin of the gemstones used in its jewelry, and only selects those from conflict-free zones. This responsible choice is in line with the brand’s policy of avoiding child labor. Quality is also one of the brand’s core values, as Djula uses only 18-carat gold and diamonds of exceptional beauty, which are then cut into pear, marquise or baguette shapes.
The collections
Alexandre Corrot’s creations are inspired by the artists he meets, museums, his travels and fashion. Fascinated by the retro era of the 20s, the designer brings vintage bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings up to date, combining finesse, modernity and the charm of yesteryear. Djula collections can be “glam-rock”, pay homage to “barbed wire” or take a leap back in time, evoking Art Nouveau… Jewelry that can be combined with the past as well as the present. Since 2019, the beautiful Barbara Palvin has been chosen as the new face of the brand.
Brand fans
Djula designs pieces for every woman, from the bourgeois to the rock-chic. A few years ago, during a visit to Paris, Céline Dion discovered the boutique on Rue St-Honoré. It was love at first sight, and following this encounter, Alexandre Corrot decided to conquer the United States. Across the Atlantic, he opened flagships in New York and Los Angeles. It was the beginning of the American dream, and all the VIP’s swore by Djula, including big names like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, as well as renowned actresses (Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow).
The Kardashian sisters and Michelle Obama are also big fans of the brand, and don’t hesitate to wear the label’s jewels both in everyday life and on the red carpet. In just a few years, the French designer has succeeded in bringing the French touch to the Californian coast. A true success story!
