Edward Green, an ode to masculine elegance

For over a century, Edward Green has been offering men’s shoes that shine both for their remarkable quality and their elegance.

Edward Green was deeply passionate about shoes. He began his career at a very young age, apprenticing at the age of 12. Eager to create high-end shoes, the pioneer founded his own workshop in 1890, in Northampton, England.

For his collaborators, Edward Green sources the best materials: lamb leather, oak wood… His promise? ‘Excellence without compromise.’ Very quickly, his label becomes known as the English brand of shoes with timeless elegance, the quintessence of British style. Among the followers of the brand, there are big names like Ernest Hemingway and even Edward, the Duke of Windsor.

True to the values of the house, each pair bearing the Edward Green brand is crafted in their workshop in Northampton. As tradition dictates for nearly 130 years. The 60 artisans who work there pay particular attention to the Goodyear welt construction as well as the finishing of the seams.

Over the years, the brand has experienced such significant success that it has expanded abroad. Paris, Tokyo, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong… It continues to gather more aficionados. These superb models always stand out for the excellence of the materials used in their manufacture.
